Wiring Diagram Creation

-            Crescent can create a detailed power system wiring diagrams for your boat or RV. Our flat rate for vessels under 50’ long is $1500. Larger vessels will require a custom quote.

-           This service includes a site visit (up to 1 hr travel) to inspect, photograph and document the existing system. Documentation will cover power-in (shore power, engine/alternator, generator, solar panels, etc.), battery banks (including switches and fuses/breakers for each bank), power conversion (inverters, chargers, charge controllers), and power monitoring (shunts, voltage and current meters). Manufacturer and model # for all components to be re-used will be documented.

-            Details on panel/switch wiring are not included (but can be for an extra charge).

-            If a visit isn’t possible, pictures and measurements will be required.

-            Using documentation collected during the site visit, a 2D wiring diagram to represent all the wiring connections will be created. The diagram will not be to-scale and will not represent the actual physical layout of the boat. The diagram will list manufacturer and model # for all components and will specify wire size and fuse sizes required.

-            After the diagram is complete, there will be an additional site visit to review and discuss component installation. Two large (D-size) color prints of plans will be provided at this time.

-            Diagram service includes providing a Bill of Materials for component ordering

-            Diagram service does not include any component costs or any installation labor.

-            If Crescent Yacht Systems creates the Wiring Diagram, components are purchased through Crescent and Crescent is engaged to do installation, then all necessary wiring, terminals, loom, zip-ties and other consumables will be provided for a flat $500 charge for boats or RV’s up to 50’ long. Vessels over 50’ will require special quote.
